this error has been plaguing me for quite a while now and i've tried everything so i'm hoping someone here might of done something i haven't tried yet to fix this annoying error.

list of things i've tried as suggested on the EA help site

clean install of latest drivers, repair the game, run orgin in admin run bf4 in admin (both) downloadomh and installing latest battlelog plugins, reinstalling and updating punkbuster, latest version of flash , made sure firewall wasn't blocking game,Disable Origin in game.,Reinstalled DirectX,ReinstalledC++ redistributables, Updated Microsoft .NET framework, turned off network discovery, stopped UPnP Device Host & SSDP Discovery and also did the port forwarding on TCP: 80, 443, 9988, 20000-20100, 22990, 17502, 42127
UDP: 3659, 14000-14016, 22990-23006, 25200-25300

internet connection is fine and they also suggested do a clean boot of windows which i did and the error went away for more then a week and today it came back and is happening in every game i've tried to play today and i've changed nothing on my PC since then

anyone know something else i could try this is getting frustrating now and i don't think EA help can suggest anything else.

i'll try it now and see what happens although sometimes it stops happening even on mantle for a few rounds or even a few days so it's hard to tell what's causing it.

Currently EA and AMD are going back and forth with revising things for mantle.

Add to that BF4 is still extremely buggy, but I don't think you should be seeing that error that often. I guess see if the non-mantle version helps with reducing the frequency of that error. It won't eliminate the issue because the game is bugged, but may make it so you can play for week or two without getting that error.

I think it pays homage to the fact that EA pushed DICE to release a game that wasn't ready for release. It makes me laugh every time I see it pop up:
Something went wrong.

Ha!

That's like heart surgeon saying 'Oops!' or "Huh?" when he's operating on you. I can't tell which DICE means. Oops!? or Huh??

i just changed it to direct x and was able to get thru a round i'll see how long it takes for the error to reoccur.

yer EA are just dumb when it comes to games and since they own dice the developers don't get much of a say in it.

the next time it happens i'll do that been on a pretty good run after changing it back tio direct x
