Anyone know what this faint ringing sound is? It is intermittent but when it's happening it is regular and takes two forms. Most commonly one approx 1-2 second ring (same as in the video) repeating every 100 seconds or so; and, as shown in the video, a repeating ring (10ish times) with 5 minutes or so in between. Checking task manager and HWINFO, there appear to be no spikes in anything like CPU, GPU, fans, etc that correspond to the sound. It happens when idle, ie only desktop and no apps running, so does not appear to be associated with load. I have disconnected all peripherals individually and as a group (mouse, keyboard, wifi, bluetooth, LAN ethernet, hdmi) and turned off all phones, tv boxes etc that might be sending signals that could cause interference (although there are many in houses near mine that I cannot switch off). I seem to be able to stop the ten x repeating version by, eg, selecting text with the mouse .

System:
ASUS TUF Gaming B550M-Plus WIFI II
AMD Ryzen 7 5700X
Be Quiet Pure Rock Slim 2 Air Tower
SPARKLE Intel Arc B580 TITAN 12GB
Kingston FURY Beast 16GB (2x 8GB) 3600MT/s DDR4
1TB Kingston NV3 M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSD
650W Gigabyte P650SS 80 Plus Silver PSU
Fractal Focus 2 Mid Case (with 2x stock 140mm fractal fans)
1 x Arctic Cooling P12 PWM PST 120mm exhaust fan

There is no HDD installed.

EDIT: Issue seems to have been narrowed down to the GPU fans and am testing for possible blockage/vibrations.

Sounds like an HDD being accessed.

You might want to roll up a sheet of A4 paper into a cylinder, then hold one end of said cylinder to your ear while the other end is used to probe for the source of the sound.

Any PSU from Gigabyte that isn't from the Aorus/UD series belongs in the trash bin.

I believe the P650SS is Aorus, no?

eventually a fan trying to start spinning
check PSU fan and others like case fans and GPU
Thanks. The three case fans and the CPU fans are all running smoothly constantly, and the GPU fans seems to spin freely when needed. The only fan I can't monitor very easily is the PSU fan but the noise does not appear to be coming from there.
