I am trying to figure out if my CPU is thermal throttling, but was unaware how to do it until I saw a video from linus tech tips, but they cut straight to this image without saying what program it is.
I agree.Looks like Sensors status from HWiNFO?
HWInfo. Here is a cutout from mine.Guys, is it HW info or HW monitor? Thanks

Indeed. I am a bit lost. Which of the three thermal throttling indicators on your image (which is exactly like mine) should I be watching to see if they turn "yes" when i run the stress test on my new CPU? HTC, CPU, or EXT?You probably find there are way more sensors on a Ryzen compared to that CPU

Info - How to use HWINFO to track Sensor values on Ryzen
Download HWINFO - https://www.hwinfo.com/download/ when you open the app, click the tick box next to show sensors only, and click run in the next window, click on the gear icon in bottom right, this opens settings. On General tab, under polling period, set it to 500 and click the set button...forums.tomshardware.com
Power reporting deviation - https://www.hwinfo.com/forum/thread...er-reporting-deviation-metric-in-hwinfo.6456/ - i know you didn't ask but if you get hwinfo and see the red number you bound to ask. Its normal. Values only matter if recorded at full load, anything below that is meaningless.
You can switch between light and dark modes iirc.Mine looks all black.
