Anyone remember the game with the CD gun?

I remember playing this game a very long time ago, but can't remember the name.
I remember acquiring the gun at a lab, but I just can't remember the game and it's driving me nuts, LOL!
It was pretty cool because you could shoot CD's at people and mess them up pretty bad.
I've tried several different angles on Google and all I get is that game with Aerosmith, where you shoot at CD's, not with them.
I'm so close to the name it's killing me!!! LOL!
I thought it might have been Soldier of Fortune Double Helix, but I highly doubt it was that game...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

are you sure it was cds? unreal tournament had the ripper which shot sawblades.

if not, i'm not sure.
