Question Anyone using this AI workstation for coding? Is it good?

why you think so. Would love to hear more thoughts on performance and tech specs. It would be more helpful man
I'm giving this blame to the "core" one, not "pro" and "max", as I lack the necessary knowledge about threadrippers.

Firstly, using 13/14th k-ended Core i5/i7/i9 is not a wise choice due to it's instability, and this "core" model uses 13700——it's a limited version of 13700k with the same instability issue and poorer performance.

Secondly, no detailed ram/ssd info is provided, and I cound't even know if the ram is ddr4 or ddr5. Using a QLC SSD is a tragedy for AI researchers, there's the risk of that.

Then it comes to the price. In my region, a combo of 13700k+64g 6000c30DDR5+1t tlc ssd+4090 with fantastic other components will be 24000¥(equals to 3000$) on online store.
This "core" model is 6000$ with its integrated and configurated services——For those who are rich and want to buy it for playing with AI, it's fine, but you said that you want to "coding" on it.
I'm a DIY lover and I think everyone of here is too, so I think these services are not useful, and I'm a developer too, I prefer to setup the environment by myself.

Finally, in Jan 7 we'll get the info about 50-series NV graphic cards. If you think my advices are helpful and want to setup a PC for model training/infering, you may keep an eye on 5090(32G vram).
