I ask because I'd love a small review of it.

I've looked everywhere and can't find a single review of it. I still can't decide between the MSI and ZOTAC one because there are no reviews for the ZOTAC.

Solution
I have Zotac GTX 1070 AMP Extreme and I say this is one of the best or maybe the best GTX 1070, super fast, cool aesthetic, and the card run really cool 31C on idle and 52C on gaming thanks to 3 big fan, what a great card. No regret here go for it.

I heard the card was slightly tilting because of the weight
Is that true?

Does anyone know if it sags a lot? I'm worried about damaging my motherboard as I got mine this morning and its really heavy, Still waiting on some more parts before i start my build so i cant test it yet.

But the shroud surrounding the fans look considerably larger than the ASUS model. It's only 18 dollars or so and you can send it back it if doesn't work. I decided to keep mind for my next GPU or if I decide to mod the case then I can use it.

Go for it dude I paid $428 out the door for my amp extreme its a beast one of the best if not the best 1070 on the market. Also I can show you how and where to get it at my price i paid cant beat the price anywhere.I'm happy.

Hello,

i have just received my 1070 AMP Extreme yesterday and i changed a R9 280X Crossfire.
The card it's just fantastic. I do not know how the various benchmark sites do the benchmarks on games but i have to say that it's a 4K card fully.
My system is
Mb: AsRock fatality K6
Ram: G-skill Trident 16Gb 3000
CPU: I5 6600k @ 4.2Ghz
PSU: Corsair H850
Primary HD: Samsung 840evo ssd 250Gb
Monitor IIYama 4K 40"

So. Here some results:
Witcher 3 in 4K ULTRA settings (AA off) = 45-50 fps
Assassin Creed Unity 4K Maximum settings = 35-40 fps
Mad Max 4K ULTRA settings = 60-70 fps
BF4 all maxed 4K = 45-60 fps
Unigine Valley 4K avarage Fps = 54.2
Unigine Heaven 4K avarage Fps = 51.3
The Division 4K ULTRA settings = 40-45 fps

Temps always 60-62° and fans at 30-35% max so silence everywhere :)

I am planning in the future to do a SLI so these numbers should increase a lot but honestly i am very very excited with this up to now. Best card on the market considering Performance/Cost.

Have the card as well and can confirm it hovers around 65-67 degrees under full load with a good 2-3 hour gaming sessions, no throttles. It's a great card and has played everything at or above 1080 60 fps with settings at very high/max in games. I know the card is more for 1440p but I actually find this card will give you a bit of headroom in that 1080p space which is what I wanted.

Been using it for about a month and notice no sag on my Asrock Z77 Pro4

[I Have 2 of these Zotec AMP Ext 1070s and they are the dogs nuts the build quality is awesome and they are so cool when fitter I have them in a ThermalTake Core P3 so the cards are with the fans facing front and I love having this kind of power.

I want the ZOTAC 1080 amp extreme but it's really expensive right now. How much of a difference in power will I be losing by buying the 1070 amp extreme instead? I'm building my first pc so I'm sorry if I sound like I don't know what I'm talking about because I kind of barely do. Thank you

Depends what games and resolution you going to play. If its 1440p or below the 1070 is more than enough. Can also do 4k but you'll have to turn the settings down a bit. If you really want to do 4k at as high setting as possible then the 1080 would be better (ignoring the sky high pascal titan x). There's around a 20% difference probably in performance between the gtx 1070 and 1080 (founders can't find a specific amp extreme comparison) but not sure that scales with the price.

If you want to see some benchmarks the multitechnopark vids on the zotac 1070 amp extreme and the zotac 1080 amp videos will give you an idea but they are two seperate vids.

At hardwarecanucks they just reviewed the strix 1070 and 1080 and difference in fps was about 10-11 in most cases and up to 20 in like two games, for 4k gaming I'd get 2 of the cheapest 1070's to put them in sli though, much better than a single 1080.
