Gettin ready to start build(waitin on case) and readin some reviews to see what problems there are. I read that the mobo pc probe will not recognize cooler other than what comes with proc. I have a Zalman CP7000CU cooler for my 3700+sandy. and would hate to not know what my temps are. Any known tricks to this ASUS A8N-E board appriciated. Also read would not work with sapphires 1xxx vid crds. I have a ati x1800xt ( have heard that even though says ati, is still manifactured by sapphire) ANY help would be appriciated. Usin Cor. xms 3200 (2x512)and have a Rosewill RP500-2 psu.

Thanks in advance

Why won't the Graphics card work...? It worked with so many pc's around the forum people.....It also overclocks well....'m runnin' my Winnie at 2.5....:)...no problems whatsoever....

The cooler normally has nothing to do with the temp monitor - the mobo can monitor its RPM, nothing else - the temp monitor checks the CPU itself.

I've plugged an AC Silencer 64 Ultra on a A8n-VM GSM. Apart from having to bend a few pins on the socket's cooler to make the fixation lever fold, I had no real problem. Only thing is, the cooler runs so slowly at boot (due to CPU low temp, it gets under 1000 RPM) that the BIOS throws in an error (which can be bypassed)
