Basically, I've only been playing val for 10 minutes and It's been at 100, I don't know anything about PC when I had this done but I am using an COUGAR POSEIDON GT240 its an AIO but, the temperature doesn't make sense.

Take a look at the temp

I don't know what's happening here and I don't know much about pc so I was hoping I can get some answers here. If I need to undervolt it or check if something's wrong

My pc is just 2 months old at the meantime and I changed the thermal paste a month after having it, How do I do the first one?
you can find the setting in your BIOS, which you can hopefully set a custom curve/setting to make the pump run with more power. If its available you can set a custom curve, for it to run at full speed when the CPU temp is approaching ~90

Is it possible to set it at 100 no matter what temp? I've been having thoughts. that maybe my AIO can't handle my CPU

It's on the second picture there
Sorry, i somehow missed the pic completely.

The CPU is not too powerful for the cooler. The cooler is not very good quality. You can use the stock cooler or buy a new air cooler. You can buy a new AIO cooler too, but it's not neccessary. 30-50 USD air cooler is enough for the job. Something like this:

You will have to check if you have enough space for a tower cooler inside your PC case. The case manual should have the info.

I learned my lesson, I'll find a different shop to get the cooler, does enviroment affect my temperature too? I'm pretty ventilated here but it's hot being in a tropical country

Does that logo spin? A little crooked, and the typical way Asetek style AIO lock in is by being twisted. It may have literally come loose but is still captured by the locking ring.

Could also just be an air bubble. Try picking the PC up and rotating it through a few directions.

Yeah the logo spins, I tried spinning it awhile ago because the box indicated it spins but I'll try to tighten it

Yes enviroment temperature does play a role. It makes it more difficult to cool the CPU, but it can be done.

You have a choice between a more expensive AIO solution or a less expensive but highly rated air cooler. One highly recommended air cooler is the Phantom Spirit 120 EVO.
It's 157mm tall, so check if it fits the case. It's not very expensive and yet it's very powerfull.

You should also know that AIOs don't last many years. Another reason to choose air coolers if you can.

Living in the southeast of asia it's really hard to find a proper one that isn't a knock off, but thanks for the details i'll find a proper shop that sells those most of the shops here are just selling "pre-built" stuff without them knowing how to see a PC problem

You can list your choices on this forum and ask for help identifying good coolers and knock offs.

Are you still there? Can I ask what's the average temperature I should have when overloading, since I plan to visit the same shop tomorrow to ask for a warranty, I loaded up my pc and my temperature is already around 40-50* that isn't normal for sure so I'll go check if it's just a faulty cooler
