[citation][nom]pabloglitter[/nom]calling this monitor border-less is an outright lie. Take a look at this picture : http://hwt.dk/Test/22358/AOC-D2357Ph-skaerm[/citation]

Read the article dude, even says in the article its a "2mm bezel". 2mm is much smaller than that photo so obviously they're not the same model.

Anywho, nice. But i'm still waiting for that monitor that is bezel free. May be a while, but till then, i'll stick with my 27 inch Samsung with a 3/4 inch bezel.. cause I only do 1 screen.. ..d..dont have much money right now, college sucks it all up pretty damn fast.

If the pic by bigpoppastuke is true- that would be the second company cheating in the same way. LG also has a monitor with "1,6mm' bezel, while in reality the bezel is not so thin at 11mm- IPS237L-BN. And LG posts photoshoped pics of the monitor on it's website, as well as on the box of the monitor itself- you do not see that it has a thick bezel until you unpack and switch the monitor on.

i have an AOC IPS monitor...backlight bleeding is very noticeable. I won't buy another AOC no thanks. Even my cheap LG TN Panel doesn't suffer from such significant backlight bleeding.

read the link dude. Do a google search. It even says it's the same model and AOC is lying by measuring the edge to the glass, and not the edge to the screen

[citation][nom]bigpoppastuke[/nom]The bezel is 2mm, but not the screen from the edge as the company would have you believehttp://cdn0.t17.techbang.com.tw/sy [...] 1351158426Still a great price though![/citation]

I'd rather have a large bezel on it, honestly. But for the price it's not actually that bad.

[citation][nom]chilladk[/nom]When looking directly at the monitor, the frame is more or less invisible[/citation]

No, frame is only invisible in the photoshoped adverts.. Monitor doesn't look like that in real life.

AOC deserves to be sued for false advertising. They even measure between edge and glass cover rather than the screen.

And borderless doesn't meant +2mm of space, less than 1mm would be more fitting.

It would be really useful if "Tom's Hardware" took notice of the comments on their site. Then when reality takes hold and the product isn't really the 'best thing since sliced bread" then they could apply a little 'electronic' correcting fluid to their articles. I now have two AOC I2367FH monitors sat side by side.
Contrary to the hype and misleading packaging the gap between adjacent 'lit' panels is 22mm. So not exactly borderless. Though, if you pull out the power cables the effect is very close.

Contrast this article with the, related story, 'AOC Releases 27-inch "Borderless" IPS Monitor for $299'. Where borderless is in quotes - promoted from the main text. You would think this was better, yes? Indicating that the reviewer has dug deep and found the truth?

No, not quite. The bezel is still quoted as being 2mm, but the link in the first sentence, to http://us.aoc.com/monitor_displays/i2757fh, indicates the bezel is 5.8mm. Why link to a site if you haven't read it?

Do you think the US website is more accurate because if they were so inaccurate the would be sued?
