AOL Webmail And Win 2000 Professional

Hi,
Everytime I use AOL Webmail with Win 2000 Pro it locks up? Anybody have the same problem? Can anyone help me out? I have SP 1 installed as well.

Win 2000 is currently on Service Pack 3. you really should install it as there are significant improvements in networking and security.

If you haven't already you should also update to IE 6 as many sites now are optimzed for it.

Check your modem and tcp settings too... I can't remember exactly but I believe AOL is a bit quirky about a couple of settings. Their tech line should be able to talk you through it.

Also check your Internet settings... set security and privacy at medium and run through the advanced tab making sure you are not blocking scripts and cookies that most webmail sites need to run.
