AOpen A600 Aluminum ATX Case anyone got one need some reviews.

Yes i have googled, read alot of reviews but one thing i want from the
case is the ability to add a 120mm fan at the bottom front of the
case.

It says you can pop out the usb, connector thing it has but if i do
that can i cut the case to put a 120mm fan their and then plonk a
grill their ??

If thats the case ill get one, i love the 120mm fan at the back and
the clear side widow is ok, rather not have that think its an option
and not standard.

Any help please do.

I have AOpen A600A (black version without plexi side). In my opinion it is a
great case, keeps things very cool and looks great. I use 120mm on the rear
(the one that comes with the case) and in the front 92mm Thermaltake
Thunderblade but there is enough place to put 120mm on the front side too. I
think you don't even need to remove the front usb panel but you must cut 2
or 3 holes for the screws. I just dont know why they didn't do it in the
factory (cut the holes) because there is enough place to put 1 120mm in
front or even 2 92mm if you remove the front usb panel.

Thanks, i'am going to order the NON black one :0
I just love 120mm fans :)

Ill just use my holesaw to cut a 120mm hole in the front and all will
be fine install fan grill and filter and the pc will be great :)

When you remove the USB panel is their enough room for airflow to the
120mm fan ?, will i have to cut arcs in the outer plastic case to get
airflow to the fan ?

And where will i put the USB panel thing once its gone ?, i think
maybe in the spare 3 1/2 inch floppy cay alittle drilling and glueing
and should be a nice place to put it if the cables reach that far.

Thanks, would be great if you can take some pics of your setup fan
placement ect inside give me a good look of whatit looks like with the
fans in place it would help alot if you can mange this it would be
great.

Thanks again.

I wanted to take the non black one too but in Croatia there were no silver
A600's, just black ones so I took the black one :). It goes great with my
black keyboard and speakers :).

Well, I don't like the way that is arranged. The plastic in front of the
place for the ventilator is closed and it must pull air from the bottom
(almost where USB connectors are) or from the top (around 5.25 trays). I am
considering cutting a whole in the plastic but I will not do it so soon, I
think enough air can come from the bottom.

It could be tight but I think USB panel can stay with 120mm in front. If
not, then 3.5 inch floppy is nice place to put them, I am pretty sure cables
can reach it.

I don't have a digital camera at home, but I can get one from a friend.
Problem is I am going on a trip tomorrow and I will be back in saturday. If
you can wait for saturday I could take some pictures and put it online. I
haven't cut a hole in the case, so there isn't much too see. Just an 92mm
ventilator in the front :). If you want I will take pictures of the front so
you can see if you can put a 120mm ventilator and pictures of the front
panel and its holes. Taking pictures isn't a problem cause I also want to ta
ke some pictures :)
