I am using Mobo x570Si as title. My computer uses wifi instead of LAN cable because room conditions don't allow it, besides, I see Wireless as a new trend. Everything was working fine until today, when I updated APP center. After that, my computer could not boot into windows anymore. I reinstalled windows, but I still boot into windows normally until I install the wifi driver (You can see it in the VIDEO HERE). I don't know the error is from the driver or windows or even the hardware. Can someone help me!!!

app centre... wonder why its installing Media tek WIFI when the board has Intel

that file is part of Wi-Fi 6 MT7920 Wireless LAN Card

Your baord has Intel as per this page - https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/X570SI-AORUS-PRO-AX-rev-10/support#support-dl-driver-wlanbt

Don't use App centre. If you want to update Intel run this instead - https://www.intel.com.au/content/www/au/en/support/intel-driver-support-assistant.html
But my Mobo rev1.1. Intel driver is for rev 1.0. I also tried to install it but it doesn't work

from looking around, its possibly:
AMD Wi-Fi 6E RZ608 (MT7921K)

https://www.amd.com/en/press-releas...-amd-rz600-series-wi-fi-6e-modules-to-enhance

since AMD make the drivers, I assume that the only place to get them is going to be through Gigabyte.

there are differences between both chips
What drivers seem to match - http://en.techinfodepot.shoutwiki.com/wiki/MediaTek_MT7921_Reference_Design
What is in PC - http://en.techinfodepot.shoutwiki.com/wiki/MediaTek_MT7921K_Reference_Design

K is just an expansion of 7921 so you would think it would work.

He using Gigabyte App center, it should be getting the latest AMD Driver. Its possible it buggy

App center is a pain, if you don't click a link in the header of every section, it defaults to wanting to download all sorts of apps you don't want
a prime example of something you don't want below

AMD need an app like intel have that checks all the drivers for you. There is no way to directly dl drivers for this so what happens when Gigabyte stop supporting it?

Most Aorus X570 that have WIFI include the Intel so it was why I suggested it myself. I have an Aorus X570 Elite Wifi.
Especially after I saw version 1.0 of board had it.

It seems we not only ones asking about drivers

"So here comes the crux: AMD doesn’t make the Wi-Fi module. Through our sleuthing, this is actually a rebranded MediaTek MT7921K module with an AMD logo on it. MediaTek sells the modules to AMD who brands them, but also leverages the regulatory compliance that MediaTek has already done for this product. AMD then takes over custom integration projects, sales, marketing, and support for the module. The RZ608 sold by AMD is in an M.2 2230 form factor and uses PCIe 2.1, although the AYANEO likely is using a more custom integration. There is also Bluetooth 5.2."
If i understand this right then it sounds like AMD will be the one handling driver support for the RZ600 series.

Don't follow advice of using 3rd party driver updaters, they tend to make mistakes.

I tried installing the driver manually but the result is the same. I think the wifi chip on my mobo has a problem so i will take it in for service tomorrow. I should have chosen rev 1.0 :(
