For that kind of money I hope they have really good product support and didn't cut any important corners! "Low-cost" or not, that's still a big grand for a chip on some PCB, even to a small business. An investment like that means the product has to work for awhile - i.e. good drivers, no hardware failure.

i used to do some work with the company that makes these cards (note the price and the fact that its used)...

and actually that is a great price for a card of this caliber...made from apogee who are known for making some of the most precise clocks on the market...which is paramount for accurate recordings...

too bad i am pretty much exclusive to digi...at least unless i am doing some work in a studio that runs logic or nuendo...
