There is nothing in the Android tablet arsenal that can match the iPad Pro. Adding the mini LED to the lineup just made the iPad Pro even more lethal. Its not cheap, but with a very fast SOC and screen, it could well be a good replacement for a laptop depending on one's use case.
It's an incremental hardware upgrade imo. As long as it's running the current iteration of iPadOS, it can never replace a laptop for someone who is dependent on MacOS or Windows software or features that aren't on iPadOS. However, once iPadOS gets better feature parity with MacOS/Windows, even the previous two iPad Pros would become easy laptop replacements. iPads have had good enough hardware to become laptop killers for years now, its still the software holding it back slightly. Don't get me wrong, the new iPad Pro is good, but it's not going to entice anyone who wasn't going to get an older model regardless.
