Apple lose iPad case in China.

"Apple bought the rights to use the trademark from Proview Taipei in 2009 with a payment of 35,000 pounds (54,616 U.S. dollars). However, Proview Shenzhen still reserved the right to use the trademark on the Chinese mainland. The two sides have been entangled in a legal battle ever since."

That seems pretty clear to me. However, I wish the article said what kind of product is associated with the Chinese trademark.

 
Update: It appears that the name was registered for Proview's product but it doesn't look like they have a product on the market and the registration expire on 20th June this year.
