Difference is that people pay a lot for Apple products because they want to. People pay a lot for gasoline because they have no choice and the oil companies lie to screw people over to pad their own, already very well padded, pockets.

Am I supposed to be surprised that an electronics company is making less money than an oil company? Are any of you actually surprised by that? And they're doomed because they're the second most valuable company in the world? What does that make everyone else underneath them(Samsung, Microsoft)? Give it a rest.

Its good and bad. The biggest problem we have is that the 401ks put money into apple. Did they put too much or was it others? If it was not for tax breaks 401ks would be the worst investment you have. The big problem we have with 401ks is that the management in the 401ks ( executives) are in cahoots with the executives ( corporations). You wonder about your investments.
