[citation][nom]molo9000[/nom]At least every single security threat for Mac OS X is big news on all tech sites.Right now I'm having to reinstall Windows 7 on my rootkitted gaming machine. Fully patched 64bit Win 7 with Microsoft Security Essentials and only software from legitimate sources installed.[/citation]
Can I make a recommendation? Get a Anti-Virus software that isn't built from Microsoft.

You obviously did something wrong. Rootkits, viruses and trojans don't simply appear magically.

Sorry john_4 it's a Java exploit that has already been fixed by Oracle two months ago. Apple maintains it's own JRE. Too bad Apple only decided to apply the fix when tons of Macs were infected.

[citation][nom]generalclean[/nom]You are naive to think there are only 600,000 macs in the world. I know you are joking but come on, get a life. So what if you don't like Macs. Have you ever even used one? I've used Windows, Macs and Linux. They all have there place in this world. Grow up and get used to change. I'm just sick and tired of all these Mac bashing going on. I like Windows better then Macs as Windows is the main stream and is a cheaper OS, but Macs are good to.[/citation]

I've seen people who buys macs and then immediately go ahead and install Windows 7. So what is the point of buying a over expensive piece of hardware just to install Windows. Doesn't that destroy the purpose of buying a Mac = no viruses? Or does all of them think a shiny coat of paint with a stupid fruit as the logo will protect them?
When you say Windows OS is cheaper immediately tells all of us you really don't know anything about computers whether it's a Apple or a PC. :|

[citation][nom]jimmysmitty[/nom]Apple is in essence admiting to a virus and fixing it?Hell must have frozen over.....[/citation]
No. It's only that Steve is dead. He more than likely would have spun it much more quietly.

[citation][nom]freggo[/nom]I'm surprised nobody has come up with an iPhone trojan that calls a $1.99/minute number in Siberia. With millions of those bricks out there one should be able to clean up nicely 🙂[/citation]
make an app for that, patent it and apple will approve of it and put it in their store, just make sure 1 penny of every call goes to some charity and you're in like flynn!
