Gradiente is the maker of the first computer of at least 95% of all software developers in Brazil over 30 years old. Back in the early 80s they've made the Expert, an MSX computer with 64KiB of RAM (from which only 32KiB was available for BASIC programs - the default environment for the machine, if you needed more for your programs you would have to learn Z80 Assembly code). The Expert (along with Sharp's Hot-Bit) was a revolution in Brazil just like the TRS-80, Apple II and ZX Spectrum were in the US an UK. So I can't help but be happy with this news... :)
