[citation][nom]TheBigTroll[/nom]irrelevant to me. i just want apple to stop wasting taxpayers' money across the world on lawsuits[/citation]

Apple is a private enterprise. It does not waste taxpayers' money; it wastes consumers' money.

[citation][nom]master9716[/nom]Apple being a wealthy company doenst benefit the economy in a big way , After trying to sue everyone it wouldnt be bad to see them in the brink of bankrupcy in the near future. But if it wasnt for Steve the S3 wouldnt be so good.[/citation]

And you do know Microsoft has sued more than Apple, do you also wish for their bankruptcy? Or are you just using that as an excuse to hate on Apple?

FYI - Judges are government employees. So are all the clerks and processing agents from the patent office, the FTC, and the appelate courts whos desks are piled high with the paperwork produced by Apple's lawsuits.

ALL of the stupid lawsuits need to stop, not just Apple's. However - HTC, Google, Samsung, and Microsoft have all now agreed to "knock it off"...now it's Apple's turn.

Apple has constantly been a trend setter. They set the trend for OS, they set the trend for smartphones, they even placed the standard on tablets. Now everyone else has caught up and began surpassing apple on making their trends more functional.

Lately apple hasn't been setting any new trends. Where do we go beyond the touchscreen smartphone? Where do we go beyond the tablet? where do we go beyond the ultra-portable?

The wild and crazy futuristic ideas of touchscreen phones that offer functionality like a computer or touchscreen tablets that work and function smooth has been made a reality thanks to Apple setting the standard for other manufacturers to follow. Aside from holographic displays, there's not much more you can jam into a tablet, phone, or ultraportable.

[citation][nom]zander1983[/nom]Reasons I have the iphone 5 are that my plan was due for renewal, no extra cost upgrading the phone, liked the features of the S3 but not the plastic feel/touch/cheap feel of it and S3 just a bit too big.Would VERY much like it if Samsung releases the s4 / s5 with an aluminium body.[/citation]

Aluminum body = lawsuit.

[citation][nom]wemakeourfuture[/nom]Heard of Bear Sterns, Enron or the countless stocks that went down 99.99% in value that is near impossible for Apple considering it has $120 Billion in cash/bonds[/citation]

You mean that in the investors eye Apple have neglected to invest that money properly to get even greater returns from them than let they lay on a pile? Or is it that Apple is preparing for the worst and have been stockpiling for it!? Both are highly valid points of concerns in the eyes of investors!

Personally I don't think Apple will lay down and die, they will likely find some other under utilized tech and package & market it well. ipod, iphone and ipad were all taken from other companies ideas. Those companies didn't believe in the products they had so they didn't invest as much in them as they should have... any guesses what will be next?

[citation][nom]James296[/nom]do you realize not everyone needs a smartphone surgically attached to their hip, right?[/citation]
Yes, I realize some people either can't afford a smartphone right now or don't recognize the benefit of having one within reach when they're away from home.

Surely you also realize then that the same could be said of a bus pass! Why pay for disproportionate data rates you may never benefit from? Some folks actually find contentment without having to spend every dime they make to buy new gadgetry! 🙂

[citation][nom]wemakeourfuture[/nom]And what I am saying is providing new and innovate products that create viable multi-billion dollar markets that competitors come and follow demonstrates Apple innovation. You do realize no one cared for finger touch smartphones or tablets until Apple came out with their products. No one cared for GUI based computers in their homes until Apple came out with their products.I challenge you to find a computer company that has provided a body of products that have been first to market that millions flocked to and competitors replicated.[/citation]

That's easy. IBM. Apple is just as much of a copier as everyone else, if not more. They're simply extremely skilled (props to them for it when they're not outright lying) at marketing things.

Predicting the stock market like that can be pretty tricky, but they actually have software and services now that can tell you (with pretty good accuracy) which stocks you should select. I've tried a lot of them but the best one I've used is called Binary Options Pro Signals. It's a service that gives you advice on which options are the most profitable, and whether you should "call" or "put". It is run by a team of market experts using software to analyze the market. In my experience, it's been correct most of the time. If anyone's interested, here's a review: http://stockmarketsystems.org/wp/binary-options-stock-signals/

[citation][nom]halcyon[/nom]You do realize it's not 1998 right?[/citation]

There are some that don't need smartphones. I'm one of those, I just need a cellphone to make calls, not to play games with. I work with computers day long, if I want to read email, read this site, etc, why would I need a smartphone and having to pay ridiculous amounts for a data plan that I don't need? My phone is just for phone calls nothing else, don't need texting or games though did get a Nexus 10 for home use but no need for a data plan.

Kind of asinine to lay that claim to Apple for the GUI. Considering that it was Windows that made it popular and for the masses. The Macintosh back in those days were a niche product, and yes, MS copied but guess what, they have the major marketshare of computer GUI OS interfaces. Just as you easily seem to give all the credit to Apple for IPods and IPads. Since you don't give any credence to first to market as being the true innovators, and instead relying upon marketshare, then MS is the leader in the GUI, and Android has overtaken the smartphone from Apple, as Android has more marketshare than Apple and soon Apple will lose the tablet market in terms of marketshare.
