does the latest apple tv allow you to install apps from the app store like on ios devices? I've been hearing yes and no to this question and I don't know which one to believe

so you can download apps just not all of them are made for apple tv...?

A lot of apps are available to download on the 4th and 5th generation of Apple TV. The range isn’t as extensive on mobile but there is a good selection
