Why spend that amount of money on a system when I can just invest that money in my own custom-built system, which completely demolishes that overpriced piece of trash?

i'm betting this will be hot when under full load.

i'd rather build my own, select every part.
they do have some nice monitors though.

apple is sooo overpriced, my jaw dropped when i heard how much a memory upgrade will cost, rams that time was dirt cheap, dirt cheap

Cons29, EVERY OEM charges that much for ram. Go take a look at Dell and HP for RAM pricing when you upgrade during the build process. Acting like Apple is the only one that charges high prices is just ignoring everyone else.

Id much rather buy one of these than a Dell/HP/etc. Every single system I have had from them for the past few years has been complete garbage (work machines, not personally bought).
