Whenever I launch more than one client I get this notification from Windows. As I play the game the computer just freezes for a few seconds then black screen shows up. Finally I receive the notification and one of the clients crash -prompting an error message saying "Error(reset) - reset error default". I checked the Windows event log to see what was going on and and I saw this: "amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered".
This problem occurs only in this game(Silkroad Online) and only if I launch more than one client. All the other games I play run just fine.
Things I've tried:
-Removing GPU drivers via DDU and reinstalling the latest ones.
-TDRDelay
-Underclocking the GPU
-Running as administrator, changing compatibility to Windows 7.
-Disabling Windows Defender.
None of the above helped. I also tried running the game with the integrated GPU and it worked just fine, launched multiple clients, no crashes at all.
My specs are:
6600k
Sapphire Nitro RX 480 8gb
16gb Ram
Antec HCG-620 PSU
MSI-z170m mortar mobo
Not running any anti-virus programs. I'm at a loss here. Let me know if further information is required.
