Dear Experts,

I have Dell Optiplex 9010 and I'm thinking of
getting a video card for it.
Spec sheet here:
https://www.dell.com/downloads/global/products/optix/en/dell_optiplex_9010_spec_sheet.pdf

q1:
As I understand, the size of the video card is limited by the Power Supply.
Is this correct?

q2:
From the spec sheet, what is the slot specification
for the video card?
PCIe x16?

q3:
The spec sheet lists optional video cards:
1GB NVIDIA GeForce GT640 (MT only)
1GB AMD RADEON HD 7570;
1GB AMD RADEON HD 7470

What does MT mean?

q4:

Those video cards are a few years ago.

Could a newer video card,
with the same slot specification,
not listed, be used instead?

Or, am I limited to the video cards listed?

Thanks

Actually you have the Mini tower, MT , that is the largest. You can use a regular height card but you are limited by length because of the hard drive caddy. And yes you are limited by the power supply which is usually 275 watt. Do you plan on getting a larger power supply?

I ended up buying an
EVGA GeForce 1060 GPU

It takes up 2 slots wide and
fits length and height wise

Power supply needs to be
changed first, before I can
plug the card it
