Question Apps not working properly

I seem to have a problem with my computer where applications such as discord, steam, league of legends, and much more, are not working properly. They all have their own issues like like discord restarting itself, steam shutting down, steam games CTD without any error messages. I can open other games and play them properly such as apex and division 2. I would like to try and play other games but I get so scared of buying games that wont work on my PC because of this problem. I am currently running rx 580, intel i5 4590, 8gb ddr3 ram, with an ssd and hdd.

I would run a malware scan using malwarebytes.
What exact ssd do you have? What is your idle cpu,ram,ssd usage.
It would help to know your Psu make, model, wattage.

I ran the malwarebytes and it said that it didnt find anything. My SSD is a WD Blue NAND SSD 500GB. Idle usage for cpu is 4%, idle usage for ram is 47%, idle ssd usage is 0% and my hdd usage is 1%.

Edit: my power supply is a evga bronze 500

Since so many of your programs have issues, I would do a clean Windows setup and re-install them.
