Hi, I have a question, I want to know, which one is lighter in use?

Using an internet browser or an app??

I want to know if I open "Whatsapp", do I open it in my chrome or an app, and I want to know the same in Discord

I have 16 of ram 2666
I7 8700
No Gpu, only IGPU

I doubt there's a difference between these apps, and running a browser - 95% of the app is web page, with remaining 5% mandatory iOS/Android stuff for settings / security.

And with your setup, I would not worry.
