I'm willing to buy a new pc with amd stuff, so i want to know which AMD processors are best A series of FX series?

Solution
Between AMD APUs and AMD CPUs, the CPUs will give you better performance.

As for AMD CPU vs Intel CPUs in games the following benchmarks from Techspot.com should help paint you a picture. Intel CPUs generally performs better than AMD CPUs especially in games that are CPU intensive. The more CPU intensive the game, the larger the performance gap.

http://www.techspot.com/features/gaming/gaming-benchmarks/

Alien Isolation is an example of a game that is not very CPU intensive so weak CPU can provide pretty good performance. Far Cry 4 and the Witcher 3 are examples of games that are dependent on the CPU, but not too much. GTA 5 is also an example of a game that is a bit CPU intensive. However, the CPU benchmarks are for 2560 x 1600...
the 8350 is a great processor for a budget build. had mine running 4.8GHz for a couple years and it was more than enough for most games. if you're pairing it with a good GPU like an: nvidia 970 or 980, amd 290X or 390X it will still get you great fps with highest settings @ 1080p. may also want to think about getting a better 990FX board if going for more cores and faster memory.

if not on a budget but not looking to totally splurge, i would go: with an i5-4690K, good 1150 motherboard, >=8GB of DDR3 1866 or higher memory, and one of the previously mentioned GPUs.

i tried a few of the cheaper intels: the 3570, the 4590, neither of them @ 4.6GHz were better than the 8350 @ 4.8Ghz.

if you really want good advice on AMD this is not the place to come anymore. you may get 1 out of 10 acceptable answers for any AMD specific question. the other 9 answers just being about intel being better.

you got my advice here if you can read back and want to take that as 1 good answer. other than that you will have to search around. most AMD advocates get tired of Intel preachers and move on in most places i believe.

I currently have AMD FX6300, ASUS M5A97 R2.0, ASUS 5450 1GB GPU and corsair vengeance 8GB. And it is still fast but can't play good games on it.

So now I'm thinking to go for AMD FX8350, MSI 990FX Gaming mobo, Sapphire 260X 2GB GPU and Corsair Vengeance 16GB. Is it good?

Your issue isnt the CPU, its that your GPU is slow, spend more on the GPU for games. If you get something like a R9 280x or 380 you will get way more gaming performance than upgrading to a 8350.

Just remember...you get what you pay for.I've used both, and Intel's are the best.I built my system (MB and CPU) i5-4690k and Asus z97 A for $387 with a combo deal online.Look around.

so which is it?

you just need to make up your mind. do you want decent frames per second with effects on at a decent resolution or do you want something like the consoles that are currently out. you've been given sound advice for CPU and GPU for a good budget gaming PC. if you go below what's been recommended GPU-wise you will be getting less quality gaming = less frames per second, less effects on ingame, and\or lower resolutions.
