First some basic information:
The router is a TP-Link Archer C1200 v1.0.
The firmware version of the router is up to date and is at 1.0.1 Build 20160918 rel.37066 (EU).
My ISP is Telenet and the modem is a 24*8 DOC 3 WIRELESS(DOCSIS).
There are about 6 devices connected to the router at one time.

Alright, so this is the second day I woke up in the morning just to start my laptop and find Windows 10 to not be connected to my router anymore. When I do attempt to connect, it says "Could not connect to this network".

I thought this was a driver problem and tried removing the driver and restarting, as well as resetting the tcp/ip stack and other common troubleshooting steps. However, it only started working again after restarting the router.

Today I had the problem again and I figured maybe it's not my laptop/Windows 10's fault. My phone was still connected to WiFi at that time and it was working. When I disconnected my phone from my network however and tried reconnecting, joining the wifi network timed out.

So this lead me to conclude that the problem is not specifically my laptop or phone, rather it's my router refusing to accept WiFi connections after some time. I can reconnect fine now, but I can't after about a day when I wake up again and this all starts over.

It all starts working again when resetting my router but this is extremely inconvenient.
I've already checked for firmware updates for the router and the router told me it was up to date.
