I wonder if Archos thought about what happens if you just want to give someone a file and you insert a SD card that belongs to someone else. I don't like when computers move files around on their own and removing the SD card when the device is not on might alter the SD card contents. A better solution would have been to make the SD card appear to be a folder residing in internal storage.

I can't see them shipping yet. At least not in the USA. I haven't found any site that sells them. When they were announced in March, it was expected that they would be shipping in April, but its May but I haven't see them on the market.
