"Looks" cool, I just wonder what insufferable UI they will anchor it with. Also, 4.0.3? Why? 4.0.4 was the last build with ICS ... I really hate it when these companies ship stuff with software that doesn't even match what is currently available.

Anandtech did a pretty good review on this. Their top end product is actually really nice and got a positive review. It falls flat in one or two areas, but all in all it was a really nice product. They actually did a really good job on it, as it managed to outperform some of the current kings in web stuff. The GPU in it is actually pretty good as well.

I wouldn't by any Archos products again. They're great at first but, they stop supporting products after about 6 months. By January of next year any bugs that haven't been fixed will never be fixed.

I've hear a lot of bar rep about Archos and now they are cutting down on storage!?! Wtf, the bigger storage capacity used to be their forte?! Btw, you cannot fit 128GB into microSD slot, for that you need a full form-factor SD slot. It doesn't make sense to fit a full-size TABLET with a miniscule microSD slot anyway.

archos has really gone down hill

their specs are for the most part in the $200 tablet range and adding a magnet and a proprietary connector does not cost an additional $200

Archos has always been a poor value for what you get but a long time ago, they used to be one of the best in terms of portable media, now that are just a company that sells overpriced and underpowered hardware.
