I have purchased a HP DVD burner that came with ArcSoft Showbiz DVD
producing software.
Everything works well except I am unable to produce my edited video into an
MPEG2 (DVD) format file, the software simply hangs at the stage of
"Producing...0%"
I am however able to produce my edited video into other formats without
failure such as AVI etc
I have removed the software and reinstalled it without improvement.

Could there be anything else on the system that relates to producing MPEG2
format files that may have been corrupted etc that is not removed by a
reinstallation of the software such as a codec or similar ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

You may have some type of codec conflict problem or missing codec. Gspot
will show all your codecs on your system, it's free, and a bit confusing for
me but it helped me resolve a previous codec problem by my renaming some of
the codecs which I guessed I did not need and trial and error. Their web
