If you had double-checked the case specs, it could've been avoided:I’m trying to install my Arctic III 280mm aio in the top of my h6 flow but the motherboard heatsink is in the way. Is there a way to avoid this?
The heatsink is secured by screws(check the back of the board) and probably thermal putty. Remove it from the board, and then you can shave/cut off the amount you believe will be enough to clear the radiator. Also, am I able to safely cut the top bar extending from the heatsink on the motherboard?
I’ll just return it and find another AIO. Thanks for replying. If you had double-checked the case specs, it could've been avoided:

Top Radiator(clearance): 30 mm / 1.18 in
It may not sound like it, but 8mm over the limit is a lot.

Will this really be more convenient than just returning an item?
No problem.I’ll just return it and find another AIO. Thanks for replying.
