Arctic MX-4 Questions

I have recently Purchased Arctic MX-4 and I have some questions. How long will it last? I recently read a post that said every 4 months he would have to replace it because he said that the temperatures under load become higher and whenever he replaces the MX-4 the load temps become 64 degrees on a CPU. I have a picture that says it lasts 8 years so I would like someone's opinion on this. Thanks in advance

My MX4 is still on 2 builds that are 5 and 6 years old , still running smooth.

FX8350 AND 3570K , still hasn't needed a change.

Yeah mx-4 is a quality paste. It should last years just as Blackbird says. I've used it on multiple builds.
