Im looking into getting a new monitor soon like one that is 27" but I was wondering is getting a 24" monitor worth it or is it to small? If not, does anyone have any recommended 24" monitors especially ones that are g-sync compatible with at least 144hz.

I would say 24” is OK... for 1080p and below. I play on a 27” 1440p display and much prefer it. It’s more about pixel density (ppi) and sitting position than straight size

Yeah that's an ideal size for gaming PC's, but nevertheless it's all on preference. If you want to play games in above 1080p than you should go for above than 24inch. It'll give much more smooth experience with above 60fps

I use a 24" 1080p 144hz panel and it's pretty good considering that my desk is relatively small, and the colors although probably very inaccurate, it does the job quite well. If you're into video-editing, and your space accommodates for it, go for a 27" + panel at 1440p or 4K.
Here's a few pretty good 144hz 24" monitors Acer Predator XB241H and AOC G2590FX.
