Are 650W enough for my PC?

Hi guys, here it is my configuration:

-ASUS ROG Z270E Gaming

-i7 7700-k 4.2Ghz

-ASUS ROG Strix GTX 1080ti 11GB

-G.Skill RipJaws DDR4 3000mhz 16GB 2x8

-additional fan for CPU

-WD Black 1T 7200rpm

-Samsung 850EVO SSD 250GB

-case Corsair Obsidiane 750D airflow with 3 x 140mm fans

-mouse + keyboard

That's all. I tried to make a test on Corsair website to check how many watts i need and it says less than 500W, but you know, human beings are better in decisions

Yes, it will use about 500 W, so 650 W unit is good choice.

A good 650w unit would be more than enough. Even a good 550w PSu would be enough.

650W is more than enough for your entire rig, even with OC.

The 650W is recommended, taking into account that, your rig would more or less draw around 50% of that - which is the point at which PSUs have the highest efficiency. See: http://www.guru3d.com/articles-pages/asus-rog-strix-geforce-gtx-1080-ti-review,7.html

A good quality 550W may be enough, albeit, at a lower efficiency due to higher load percentage when fully stressed.

Persoanlly, on this build, i would go with a 600-650w. But thats just me and i like going slightly OTT with my PSU's. Just make sure its a good quality one. maybe a Seasonic or the corsair RM***x series.
