I have a 80+ plus gold 850 watt psu and I was just wandering if it's good for my system. I have a 5600x with a gtx 1650 but I'm going to upgrade my GPU to something like a 3060ti hopefully soon.

Solution
That's Curry's own brand. Rebranded CWT GPU, like Bitfenix Whisper M, Enermax Revolution DF (with different fan), and MSI MPG A-GF. They don't list OTP, that's why it's in tier C in the tier list, but it's probably there, it's just that their marketing folks don't care. Overall good option for that price or if otherwise cheaper than said MSI MPG A-GF, ADATA XPG Core Reactor, Corsair RM or Seasonic Focus (and it's rebrands).

Definitely GPU "based", but weird that it has four +12V rails and no certifications. If you leverage a PSU without changing anything, you can leverage the certifications with no additional costs.

But if I do anything on the primary side to the transformer, I have to re-cert.

"DSG". Wow.. Here's how long it's been since I've been in the UK.... I knew Dixon's bought Curry's, but didn't know Dixon stores closed and that they're all Curry's and that Dixon's is just the parent company. When I was at BFG, DSG was the exclusive UK distributor. 😀

Have you clicked on it? LOL!
No, but in the excel sheet, the data for it is identical to CWT GPU-V.

So I won't have any problems with?

Because they just told 80 PLUS "yeah... it's the same as the GPU850V" and they didn't bother to test it.
As did all the others in the list, that's the problem with 80 Plus ...
But yeah, no telling if it's actually stock CWT GPU or not, and we wouldn't know until someone does a full teardown. Although, would they or CWT really bother with customizing anything but probably switching capacitors to Teapo or smth ?

Sure. You can "drop in" cheaper MOSFETs, bridge rectifiers, etc. It's not uncommon. Heck, even when we have engineers on the ground, vendors will swap out parts without proper validation or telling the customer due to cost or availability. I just had Great Wall switch out the SRs on the SF750 from AP to Nexpera without doing full qualification. They just tested on ATE and they passed. We then had some "blow up" once installed in Corsair One (once again, we're fortunate that we build our own PCs so we can catch these things before customers do. Like that issue we had with MLCCs on the CS series). Had to recall the whole lot and send them back.
