[SOLVED] Are case fans just really hard to screw in

(see title) or am I doing something wrong?

All the fans I've put in feels like they take the might of Zeus to drive the screw in.

I'm sure its not my case, the screws they use go right through the holes no problem on the case itself. But when it hits the fan hole it feels like I'm drilling for oil. I thought maybe it was just the budget fans I bought but I noticed the same thing with different fans as well.

Solution
There are no threads in screw holes so screw has to make them, second time it gets easier if you hit same threads. Original screws are self tapping and threads are optimized to hold best in plastic.
Maybe get cheaper manufactured screws with cheaper fans.

I bought some arctic cooling p12's the other week, the included screws are the sharpest Ive ever seen on the threads, to the point of being dangerous.

It did however mean a 2 year old could have screwed them in without struggling.
