Hi,

My 500W Seasonic PSU only has a 4+4 EPS that has its wired glued together. My motherboard has two 4pin EPS ports (Image above).

I have two options:

1) Attempt to separate the glue to free up the wire to create two separate 4pin EPS (Will it work?)

2) Buy a EPS Splitter:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Splitter-P...&sprefix=eps+splitter,electronics,126&sr=1-22

So I was wondering which option would be best, and whether or not both options are safe to use. As I have heard that I shouldn't use different PSU cables not supplied.

I see. Thank you for your help :)
By the way, do you think this power adapter will do the trick:

Yes that will do the trick for your main power.
