Question Are my Ryzen 9900x Cinebench and Time Spy scores normal?

Hi,

So I just got the cpu and ran some tests for no other purpose than to see if it's working as it should.

For reference I used this video as well as this review article.
I gathered that the Ryzen 9900x should be landing somewhere around the 32000 mark in Cinebench R23 (multi-core) and in the mid to high 14000 in Time Spy.

My scores
Cinebanch R23 (multi-core) : 31133
Time Spy : 14085

Mine seems to be a couple hundred off of the references I used. Now my question is, do my scores look standard for the 9900x? There are not that many out there and I can't seem to find many valid examples.

If you don't have a 9900x or don't have any idea of how it should perform, please save us both the time. Likewise I'm not interested in hearing that an overclocked last-last gen is doing the same numbers. All I'm looking for is on topic concrete answers.

Side note: "Forgot password" doesn't seem to be working. When it says that an email has been sent and to follow the instructions, I get no email. Can anyone confirm this issue?
Update: Got two emails just now regarding the password change, about an hour later. And the links are no longer valid it seems. Fantastic.

Latest AGESA code is 1201a but seems that only Asus has it.
Since you said that I had to check... MSI has a beta version for my board "AGESA PI 1.2.0.1 released for trial use" but I'm gonna wait till the final is released before I update.

Oh... my 9950X scored 43,323 in Cinebench R23 multi-core... can't say I was expecting a 10k difference over the 9900X but it is 16 vs 12...

I jumped into Ryzen waters with first and subsequently all other Zen but held off with Zen4 for about a year because of sketchy BIOS. What's the use of new CPU if BIOS can't provide it with full performance ? It looks like history is repeating with Zen5 and AMD is still dragging feet with AGESA.
No OC but careful optimizing, my 7900x is pushing CD 31000/1990+ in CB 23 at only 5350MHz all core, so unless 9900x can go at least 34000, not seeing much incentive to upgrade. Was also hoping that 9950x can fit my 180W limit MB but no dice, so it's out of consideration, not going to change MB just because of that and/or if x870 MBs hit some decent price.

Which MB and BIOS version ? Latest AGESA code is 1201a but seems that only Asus has it. for others it may be 1700 or 1200 which both suffer with low power and voltage defaults.

It's the Gigabyte B650E AORUS ELITE X AX ICE and the bios version is the latest with AMD AGESA 1.2.0.1a.

In the description it says "AMD AGESA 1.2.0.1a with one click for TDP 65W to 105W to increase CPU performance".
Not sure what that means, where is this click? Besides the 9900x has a 120W TDP so... I'm not sure.

TDP is not same as Power supplied to CPU which can be and usually is higher.
Don't know about particular BIOS but it should be in PBO settings.together with PPT and EDC.
