I have had a few crashes and blue screens resonantly. And some single beeping from the computer tower. I use headphones so its not audio beeeping. The latest have been when I am playing a game called DayZ. Its apparently quite a heavy CPU demanding game. But I don't think these crashes are normal. This is my spec.

AMD FX 6100
VTX 3D HD7850 2GB
4GB DDR3L 1600mhz Crutial Ballistix sport
Corsair CX 600
2x Seagate 7200rpm 160GB HDD

The picture attached is the temp just after one of the crashes in the game. I had two crashes one after the other. But i have been playing this game all day pritty much.

Then when I started writing this out my computer crashed well it froze and I had to reset. I checked the temps in the bios on restart and system was 28 and cpu was 34. I had a beep after the second game crash

Here is the latest blue screen which I had in game playing yesterday.

My case is a Casecom

I have a 120mm fan on the front bottom blowing in. 120 mm fan on the rear exhausting. A 80 mm fan exhausting on the top and a Arctic cooling F12 120mm fan on the side top vent blowin in. Are the temps ok?

Just did memtest and it came back all clear. Ok ill try the game out now in windows mode. I re downloaded the latest beta driver the other day just to make sure I had the latest one. What else can I do?

Ok I just ran the game in window mode. I took this screen shot after 30sec of playing and I heard a Beep from computer.

and then after 30 mins of playing this was the final reading.

I opened cpuid halfway through so couldnt tell other mobo temps when starting.

Are these temps reasonable. Was speaking to a few people in game and they sudjected taking side of case off to cool mobo and also that his mobo was running 31degrees. Im not sure if that was compared to my 58 and 60 c temps or the 31/32c overall temp. But idling now the mobo temps are 30 37 31

If its not the temps what could be causing the random blue screens and crashing.

Kinda hard to read in those pics but from I am able to see;

CPU temp: 22 to 47c = no problem. Max temp for the FX series is ~70c so well below that.
TMPIN2 looks like 61c ? That's a bit warm,... but probably not fatally so,... might wanna see about putting some sort of heat sink or something on the mosfets if you can.

Video card: cant see the temp in the pic,...

I'd try updating all your drivers if possible and try again,..

Closer images.

Ok I have a 120mm arctic cooling f12 fan on the side spraying air over the top of the mobo. Should i get another 120 to cover the lower part of the mobo as i have space for two fans. (see case image link in first post)

And when you say all drivers, do you mean for all the hardware aswell?

No cant see 192c anywhere? I only did one test. I read to do a few as when the mem is hot it might read a fault then. But I had been gaming all evening so surely the ram would be up to temp. Or shall I do 2 cycles just to make sure?

I don't think it's heat issues at all.
I'm almost 100% certain it's your drivers. You need to clean out ALL of your video drivers first. Not just reinstall. and you need to use a good driver sweeper. Not go in to add remove programs an uninstall that almost always leaves behind issues. ALSO do not use BETA drivers. get the latest driver that is non beta. After doing that I bet your bsod's go away 😉.

Lower picture for CPU package Value 47C MIN 33C MAX 192C?

Ok I will have a read up about how to remove all the drivers and do that. Thanks.

Yeh just see that 192C temp 😱 pritty shocking. surly cant be a true reading?

I today re organised the cables in the case and move some of the fans around. The 120mm stock fan on the bottom front doesnt seem to be pulling that much air in and my gpu is pretty big in my case and I assume that it is blocking the pulling air getting to the top area of the case. So I took the 120mm f12 fan off the side and put it as exhaust on the top of case, took the 80mm fan i had in that place i mounted at the top front of my case and left a bay open so air could be pulled through.

I had been playing dayz for about 45 mins and spent most of that time in the city area. ( its where the cpu is most used) and these are temps I was getting.

newtemps.jpg

So I have got a good 10c drop in most of the temps which is good. And I didnt get any crashes or hear any beeps from the mobo.

I have ordered 2 more f12 fans to pull air in on the two side vents so I should have alot of air being blown onto the mobo cpu and gpu. And Im going to get a better cpu cooler.

I just uninstalled the amd cataylist software from Uninstall programs and when i reboot my computer it gets to the loading windows bit and then it goes back and restarts... my mobo doesnt have onboard graphics either.. what can i do to load windows?

Right so I rebooted pressed f8 and booted from last good boot. Then My mouse stopped working. So I restored it back to earlier today. So back to normal I unistalled cataylist, rebooted then I cleared all the drivers from driver sweeper. I then rebooted and then installed the normal drivers ( not Beta ) rebooted and, but the drivers didnt load and i had a code 31 in device manager under my display adaptor. So I tried installing the drivers from the original CD that came with the GPU , rebooted and still the same. So I tried going into it into device manager and click update driver from internet and it said I had the newest driver. I did it also directing it to the beta file aswell but it said that it had the latest driver. So I restored it again back to this morning again. So not quite sure what to do now.
