The ASUS Z270E mobo has 2 dedicated 4-pin RGB headers which can be controlled by the manufacturers AURA software.

Is there any way I can connect either of the following two fans to these 4-pin headers? I want everything to be synced with Aura. (i only need one of these fans for the back/rear of case)

NZXT Aer RGB120
Thermaltake Riing 12 RGB

If this is possible, if additional connectors/adaptors are needed, could you please let me know which ones. Thanking you in advance.

Solution
I've got my other two fans ordered and I'll make a video of how to fully do this once they arrive and link to it.

I've now made a video... I've added instructions as subtitles so make sure you turn subtitles on! Also, in the description I've put links to different parts of the video.

These are the only official ones. If you read through the thread you will find that I discovered how to make Corsair HD120s Aura/Fusion compatible. Also, both the fans you have said are not even released yet,

Yes, I checked your video. Really nice work done mate!

Hi, I want to do as you did and I have a couple of questions:
1- Do I need the RGB version of these fans or SP120 are ok too?
2- The process is the same for the 140mm version?
3- What led strips did you use?

Thanks in advance.

I'll just answer them with numbers for you...

1- You need HD120 RGB fans because they use an LED strip which can be swapped out around the outside where as the SP120 fans have the LEDs at the centre of the fan soldered onto a circuit board so they cannot be modified.

2- I've never tried with a 140mm version but I'm pretty sure they're exactly the same design but enlarged so the process would be exactly the same but the LED strip would be longer.

3- You need a SMD 5050 Non-Waterproof LED Strip. It MUST be non-waterproof to fit in the fan and 5050 to work properly with aura/fusion because the lower SMDs cannot turn white. Here's a link to an eBay listing: LED Strip
