Question Are RX 6600 drivers still bad ?

Hey all, I wanna upgrade my GPU and an RX 6600 is only about $290 right now.
Are AMD drivers still bad or will I be okay getting a 6600?

AMD drivers have had revisions since their release and have matured. What sort of specs are you working with? Please list them like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

I haven't had any "bad" drivers at all. always newest from AMD. Just don't let MS install their drivers.

Bingo. Good to AMD.com and under resources look for drivers and search for the rx6600. Their drivers the last couple of years seem decent.

I have been using an AMD GPU (5700xt) for quite some time and have had 0 issues. Apparently the launch drivers had problems, though.

Go install the latest driver and you should not have any driver issues.

take it, is it used or new? usually it will run all the games until today, it was from 3 years, not bad at all!

I purchased one of the Sapphire RX 7800XT pretty much at launch. I heard people talking about driver issues but never had a problem myself. As @CountMike said above: "AMD Official".

Also to add. OP, where are you? $290 is an insane high price for (most) 6600.

I'm in Aus, sorry for late reply. brand new 6600 with slight discount was $289

do you know how the 6600 will do in ray tracing? the new subnautica could have ray-tracing and I would definetly be interested in that.
