Are stock coolers for any 2 processors of the same socket identical?

If I take a G1820 stock cooler and put it over a 4790k, would it perform as a 4790k stock cooler?

In other words, are the G1820 and 4790k stock coolers the same? Are stock coolers for 2 processors of the same socket identical?

They have differant watt ratings. A 4790K runs on the hot side with the stock cooler when stressed and should not be used with thst processor.

I know the i7 has a higher watt rating, but aren't the G1820 and 4790k coolers essentially the same in terms of RPM, fan size and base they plug into?

Perhaps this belongs to the CPU section, since I am not looking to overclock right now.

They do fit, are the same size and fan but I think they still use different core versions, the lower end have aluminium cores and the higher is copper.
