So yeah I was looking for a new monitor for gaming and to my surprise the ones popping up on amazon for 100 or so pounds were benq ones and I thought great.. except they're only 60 hz.. like my 5 year old monitor... and it seemed quite hard just to find out what hz they were as I couldn't see them in product details..

So are there any "cheap" 120hz monitors out there? (22" + please) as I really want to have the hz for playing fps games like csgo.

I don't care if they're old! Just the cheapest ones if any exist! So I can get some kind of rough idea. And if theres any websites to keep a watch on for a good deal please let me know.

Thanks

Maybe you should back off a bit, anything above 60 is an improvement in clarity and smoothness. Like I said above, I went on uk.pcpartpicker.com which lists the different retailers in the UK and there are no £100 monitors that meets your criteria. You're going to have to rely on used monitors and make sure you can send it back in case it's damaged or has other problems.

Here is the cheapest monitor I was able to find (24", 144 Hz, TN panel):

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Monitor: AOC G2460PQU 144Hz 24.0" Monitor (£197.99 @ Aria PC)
Total: £197.99
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

I tried overclocking it to 75hz which on my web browser using the ufo test thing it was at 75hz great! then I went into csgo to try and play it at 75hz and it was all laggy whenever I took a step forward so yeahhhhh
