Not a 'partition' but more like file recovery and depends what you did. For example if you merged partitions together, yes that deleted partition is gone. If you just deleted D drive and didn't reallocate the space in any way (say make a new D drive or etc.) The the files are recoverable if you use a VERY LENGHTY BIT reader. Can take a couple of days to run (Recuva is the best bet). The only problems that normally you can run into is the space is unallocated, so to Windows doesn't exist in any way, no FREE programs are made normally to resolve that. What you would need is a Boot Disk that would look at the drive from the 'outside' and just look one sector at a time on the drive. Still probably take a few days depending on the size.
