Are there any wireless network cards (i like Pci-E) that work with Windows 10?

(as stated above)

My network card doesn't have a Windows 10 driver. The 5GHZ band of my router (has a dual 2.4GHz and 5GHz network, each at 300mbps) doesn't register on my wireless card (my phone and other devices are fine, though).

This is just checking to see if anyone has one that has Windows 10 drivers.

Solution
First of all, many W7 or W8 drivers work fine for devices.

Have you tried installing one of those?

I installed W10 on several old laptops and wireless is working just fine using the drivers Windows 10 installed.

So I suspect:
a) You have setup something incorrectly, or
b) You need W7 or W8 drivers.

I doubt that you need another card.

I've double checked drivers and I have installed the drivers again to be sure, and since Windows 10 upgrade the 5GHz reception is almost non-existent, 99% of the time it doesn't recognize it.

Not sure what to tell you then. I've talked to a LOT of people and theirs all work just fine though likely none are 5GHz as that's not too common.

Did you at least try 2.4GHz?

Interesting that it works SOMETIMES. So the card is detected. Can't be a hardware issue since it worked before. It's not an issue of no drivers at all. Thus it must be a SETTING in the drivers though I can't say what.

It could be a failing hardware issue, if it is the 5GHz chip going bad slowly or it could be a issue with the driver not having the correct paths for 10. Some drivers from 7/8 might work on some devices but this is not guaranteed for all devices and the OP might have one of those devices that needs specific driver support in order to work properly.

Actually yes, the 2.4GHz band does work. However, I've enjoyed the double band while multiple computers are being used. Especially for online gaming, or when the other computer is streaming videos and so on.

It's a rosewill adapter and I'm trying to get ahold of the company but they've yet to release a win 10 driver, so it's hard to be sure if it's hardware or software driven.

If it was previously working in Windows 7/8 then it is probably a driver issue.

Hopefully you get somewhere with them but it is hard to say. They are a pretty big company so I would expect Windows 10 drivers but this far into release is not very hopeful. They might just leave that adapter behind and release new adapters. I have seen it happen before with other OEMs.

Solution
WELL I think I've found a solution

I was looking at the Newegg.com page for this device and found the following in a review:

So, this device has worked great for me since I got it. However, when I upgraded to Windows 10, it stopped being able to detect 5GHz networks. This resulted in poor performance in online gaming. However, I was able to find a fix for it.

>First, uninstall the driver for it. Just launch the driver utility from the disc or download and uninstall it completely. Then what you'll want to do is reinstall it BUT THIS TIME WITH THE RALINK UTILITY. This is super important!
Then, go into Device Manager and find it (It might be labeled 802.11n Wireless Lan Card). Right click it and choose Update Driver Software. Choose Browse My Computer, then Let Me Pick, and choose the RALINK TECHNOLOGY CORP. one, *NOT* the MediaTek one. Let it finish installing and you should be good to go. You don't actually need the Ralink software GUI for anything, it just comes with the correct driver.<

And it works!
