I like the detailed information given in Tom's NVME reviews but is there some way to do side by side comparisons? Would save me from having to enter all the data into a spreadsheet.

Anandtech has a ssd comparison app called ssd bench:

You can compare two ssd devices in a variety of situations.
Not all devices are in the table, but you get the idea.
Performance will vary, larger ssd devices perform better.
