Right now there’s a pretty good deal on Thermaltake Pure Plus RGB 12 fans but before buying them I’d like to ask for reviews from anyone who’s had them. Strangely I can’t find ANY comparisons online between them and other rgb fans. I’m mostly concerned on the quality of the lighting in comparison to competitors such as corsair.

Comments about their performance are also relevant because if I buy them I will be using three of their 120mm models as exhaust and 2 fans included with my case as intake. I’m wondering if this is enough to keep my case cool for a i7-8700k and 1070 ti overclock.

Thanks for reading, feel free to ask me to clarify.

Can't speak to the 120 mm fan you mention or the separate Pure fan but I have the Core V71 case which uses 2 x 200 mm RGB intake fans, a 140 rear fan and another 200 mm RGB top exhaust all of which perform to spec.

I accidentally put this thread in the cpu section, that's a shame. I don't think I can delete it, and I don't want to spam by double posting. If any admin or mod sees this and has the ability to move the thread that'd be great!

Yeah I think thermaltake is a good company but I'm just wondering about these fans specifically because there's a strange lack of reviews. They're at a GREAT price and it's making me suspicious because usually at that point either the performance or the rgb is terrible, and the performance seems fine.

That's why I'd like to hear a firsthand experience with them if I can.
