Looks good.

But may I suggest getting a 16gb x2 kit instead of the x1 with just a single stick. You'll get better performance with 2 sticks in dual channel mode. If you wanted to upgrade to 32gb in the future your board can handle and additional 2. Just buy the same kit again, but keep in mind mixing RAM can hinder stability.

if you can afford it id go for the i5 8600K and a decent cooler. it is a better gaming cpu.

Not enough of a better performer for the extra $95.00, or, basically a 35% higher price than the i5-8400.

RAM looks good now. Same model I have. If you can afford a better CPU, sure go for it. But it should be fine for 1080p gaming.

Hey, you might want to go with a different motherboard, since your cpu isn't overclockable there isn't any point for going with a z370 motherboard. I'd recommend either going for a h370, b360 or h310 motherboard. They are much cheaper for the cpu that you are going with.
