Are These Compatible?

Hey guys, it's been a while since I've used this site, but i'm back. .
Just had a quick question. Are Vishera CPU(S), compatible with motherboards that aren't the right chip set? For example, the AMD FX-8320E, and the MSI 970 GAMING Motherboard.

You should always check a motherboard's CPU Support List (found on the manufacturer's support page) to find out precisely what processors are compatible.

Oh wait, sorry forgot to mention. Does that mean that i don't have to update the bios or anything like that right?

You shouldn't need to. None of the BIOS updates appear to add new processors (meaning all processors on the list are compatible with the default BIOS).
