Ok, so I need to make sure all of these parts are compatible and would work well together. Also, if anyone has any suggestions, that would be great. I am still new to building pc's, so im just making sure all of these parts will work. Thanks!

As I said, im very new to building pc's, so I would like an opinion from someone with experience. I also plan on gaming a lot with this pc. Are the parts I picked good for gaming? And are the parts compatible? Thanks a lot! :)
 
Why last generation MoBo / CPU ?
Why last generation GFX ?
Why i7 for gaming ?
No over clocking ?
Why 2 opticals ? Was common 15 years ago but no longer with huge HD space, mulktitasking and speeds

those are all fine except that 670 is a bad choice, its just simply outdated , 770 is the same price or sometimes cheaper and always faster/ also, you dont have to... but how about you just go with a haswell cpu, and a z78 mobo. also why dont you check out the corsair graphite 600t case, thats my favorite case and its cheaper than the 650d you suggested, the graphite offers all the same features at a lower price, plus i think the graphite just looks really freakin cool.

SUMMARY so you should take my advise on the 770 instead of the 670 (and if you want to get a haswell cpu+z78 mobo you dont have to though) also like i said check out the corsair graphite 600t and if you like it you should pick that instead of the 650d

Jack went in alot more detail than me, he makes some good points to,like he said the i7 isnt nescessary, and the 500r is a really good deal, that mobo cpu combo deal is really good too. make sure to take the advice on the 770
